Divide Footer Information into Two Sections: Left and Right

<footer>
<div class="copyrights-left">
<p>&copy 2015. <a style="color: #fff;" href="index.html">Free Xbox Live Gold Membership and Free Xbox Live Gold Codes</a>. All rights reserved.</p></div>
<div class="contact-right"><p><a href="contact.html">Contact Us!</a><a href="tos.html">ToS</a></p></div>

Currently, I am trying to modify the footer code so that the copyright text is aligned to the left and the Contact and ToS links are aligned to the right. However, I am encountering difficulties in aligning the content to the right side.

Answer №1

<footer>
    <div class="copyrights" style="overflow: hidden;">
        <p style="float: left;">&copy 2015. <a style="color: #fff;" href="index.html">Free Xbox Live Gold Membership and Free Xbox Live Gold Codes</a>. All rights reserved.</p>
        <p style="float: right;"><a href="contact.html">Contact Us!</a> <a href="tos.html">ToS</a></p>
    </div>
</div>

It is recommended to separate the stylesheet into an external file for easier maintenance and target elements using class names instead of inline styles.
