Div encountering CSS glitches

Is there a way to position the c div at the bottom of the a?

Trying out Position:relative doesn't seem to do the trick.

Check out the DEMO here

Answer №1

To achieve the desired effect, it is essential to set #c as absolutely positioned and #a as relatively positioned:

#a {
    width:200px;
    height:200px;
    background-color:lightgrey;
    position: relative;
}
#b { }
#c {
    bottom:0;
    position:absolute;
}
