Creating an eye-catching loading animation for page content using jQuery and CSS

Many websites incorporate animations to enhance user experience when content loads in the background. LinkedIn is one example of a site that features a nice animation during content loading. Below is a screenshot for reference, showcasing the type of animation I am looking to implement when loading content on my page.

I am seeking ideas on how to develop my page in order to display a similar animation when calling my server-side function to load data. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer №1

It's actually quite simple to accomplish. Allow me to provide an illustration:

  1. Start by including code in your index file similar to the image you provided
  2. Next, use ajax to fetch all the content of the website
  3. After retrieving the content from the server, swap out the placeholder HTML with the actual data.
