Creating an atom without any boundaries: A step-by-step guide

I'm curious about where to place these scripts. Should they go in the Atom init script? Any guidance would be highly valued.

To customize Atom's interface, follow these steps:

  • Install the 'asar' module globally using npm: npm -g install asar.
  • Extract the contents of atom.app/resources/app.asar, and add frame: false, after title: 'Atom', in the file atom-window.coffee.
  • Delete the modified app.asar and repack it.

Here are the commands for extracting and packing the files:

  • Extract: asar e app.asar a
  • Pack: asar p a app.asar
