Broken hyperlinks on images that have been crossfaded are causing issues

 Inserted CSS code goes here
 Inserted HTML code goes here

However, I am facing an issue where every time I click on an image or the caption div, I am redirected to fox.com. I need assistance in resolving this redirection problem.

Answer №1

When you set the opacity to 0, the elements remain in their original positions (invisible but still clickable). This is why the last element,

<a href="http://uniquewebsite.com">
, appears to be in front of the other elements and is the one clicked. To resolve this issue, consider using display:none/block in your animation or adjust the z-index to establish a hierarchy among all your <a> components.

Answer №2

Implement z-index to prioritize layers.
