Wrapping is disabled for all elements within the container div that contains three additional div elements

I am trying to prevent one of the three divs inside a fixed top navbar container from sliding underneath another, causing the navbar to become taller. The code below is using Bootstrap and the issue is with the navbar-header div sliding underneath the header-full-title div. I want to force the navbar-header to resize since it's an img-responsive element.

 <nav class="navbar navbar-default navbar-fixed-top navbar-header-full">
        <div class="container">
                <div class="header-full-title img-responsive">
                    <img src="~/Content/img/MTC_logo_header.png" class="img-responsive" />
                </div>
                <div class="navbar-header">
                    <button type="button" class="navbar-toggle collapsed" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#navbar" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="navbar">
                        <span class="sr-only">Toggle navigation</span>
                        <span class="icon-bar"></span>
                        <span class="icon-bar"></span>
                        <span class="icon-bar"></span>
                    </button>
                    @*<a class="navbar-brand" href="#">
                        <img src="~/Content/img/MTC_logo_header.png" class="img-responsive" alt="">
                    </a>*@
                </div>
                <div id="navbar" class="navbar-collapse collapse">

                    <ul class=" nav navbar-nav navbar-right">

CSS

       .header-full-title {
       float: left;
       padding-left: 20px;

         }

Answer №1

One effective approach could be utilizing @media queries to control the navigation bars' behavior, ensuring they only adjust when necessary.

The aforementioned recommendations are equally valid options to consider.

Answer №2

I decided to use media queries and it's working really well. I just needed to adjust the height of the navbar and decrease padding in some areas.
