Why does the CSS responsive menu appear and disappear?

As I prepare to launch this website, I have put in a lot of effort to ensure responsiveness throughout the design. One key aspect is the menu, which is designed to be responsive and display a "burger" icon when the screen size is too small to show all menu items. However, there seems to be an issue where even when the screen is large enough to display the full menu, the burger icon still appears briefly before disappearing to reveal the complete menu.

I am unsure why this is happening - whether it's a CSS or JavaScript issue. Can anyone offer assistance in troubleshooting this flickering menu problem?

Thank you in advance for any help provided.

*I have tested this in Chrome on a Mac. Link to the page:

Hello, it seems like there may be an issue with the media query in responsive.css.

Here is a suggestion:

Original:
@media all and (max-width: 1023px) {

Change to:
@media all and (max-width: 995px) {

Answer №2

Within the style sheet named "responsive.css," you will find the following line:

@media all and (max-width: 1023px) {

To ensure that the menu only appears at a specific pixel value range (ideally between 800 - 960px), simply adjust the values accordingly within the parentheses.
