What strategies can I use to ensure consistent website layout across various zoom levels and browsers?

As a newcomer to web design, I am excited that my site is almost ready to go live. However, I have encountered some significant issues right before launch. When the site is zoomed in or out, the content becomes misaligned at certain zoom percentages. Additionally, the footer is incorrectly positioned to the left when viewed on an iPad or iPhone. I believe using tools like Firebug and Chrome Inspector would be helpful for troubleshooting, as I am unsure of what specific code to provide here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Answer №1

It's not feasible to achieve that level of control across all browsers and devices.

There isn't a methodological approach to restrict your site from being zoomed in by any browser.
