What is the reasoning behind these parameters being utilized?

When I apply the class "container" to a div, it causes an issue with the width of the div. The properties are taken from _grid.cscc.

I need the width to be 100%.

This problem occurs every time I create a new container.

Answer №1

To achieve a full 100% width, consider using class="container-fluid" instead of just container

Answer №2

Opt for using container-fluid

.container has a set maximum width in pixels, while .container-fluid adjusts to a maximum width of 100%.

.container-fluid dynamically resizes as you adjust the width of your window or browser by any amount.

.container resizes in fixed increments at specific widths dictated by media queries (although technically considered "fixed width" due to pixel values being specified, it is still responsive and able to change size).
