What could be causing my image to not load on my HTML page?

Why is the first image loading correctly but the second one isn't appearing?

<p>Please insert an image from a random website:</p>
<img src="https://www.w3schools.com/images/lamp.jpg" alt="Lamp" width="32" height="32">
<img src="http://www.eventoscasua.com/GranjaCasua/images/arepas.jpg" width="32" height="32">

Answer №1

My point of view is that using non-source (http) urls may lead to potential security risks.

<p>To illustrate, consider the following code snippet:</p>
<img src="https://www.example.com/images/example.jpg" alt="Example" width="32" height="32">
<img src="http://www.anotherexample.com/images/anotherexample.jpg" width="32" height="32">

Answer №2

If the image is not appearing, it is likely that you do not have permission to use it. Try using alternative images from the same website to see if they display correctly. Also, consider adding an 'alt' attribute with a simple description to indicate whether the image is present or not.
