What are some ways to ensure a footer is at the bottom of a webpage in every scenario?

How can I keep a footer fixed at the bottom of an HTML page, regardless of screen size?

Setting it to relative causes it to move with the content, but I want it to stay at the bottom.

Is there anyone who could assist me with this issue?

Answer №1

To achieve the desired effect, you can utilize the following CSS style:

position: fixed;
bottom: 0;
left: 0;
right: 0;

Remember to tailor this code to suit your unique situation. If you provide a code snippet, I can offer more customized guidance.

Answer №2

html{
height: 100%;
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
}

}
