Ways to Reduce the Emphasis on Bootstrap CSS

Despite my best efforts, I have been unable to reduce the priority of Bootstrap CSS. I have positioned my custom.css file below the CDN link for Bootstrap.

Applying !important to all the CSS properties would be a daunting task due to the extensive amount of CSS code in the project I am currently working on.

Answer №1

Why not consider using the !important declaration in your custom.css file?

The purpose of the !important rule in CSS is to give a property/value greater priority than usual.

When you apply the !important rule, it takes precedence over all previous styling rules for that specific property on the element!
