Vertically aligned text and a colorful sidebar enhance the accordion-style slideshow

Currently, I am in the process of creating a website for a health organization and have successfully implemented an accordion image slideshow feature. Here is what I have accomplished so far:

However, my goal is to enhance the slideshow by incorporating a colored sidebar with text alongside each image, similar to the example shown here:

If anyone has any insight on how I can achieve this, please share your knowledge. Thank you.

Answer №1

If you want to position each image to the right, create a separate div for each image and nest it within your li tags. Then apply the following CSS code:

div {
    height: 100%;
    width: 2em !important;
    position: absolute;
    left: 0;
    background-color: blue;
}

For a visual example and further details, check out this fiddle.

Snippet:

* {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
}

body {
  background: #ccc;
  font-family: 'Montserrat', sans-serif;
}
