Utilizing Jquery Masonry to create a visually appealing layout with dynamically sized items

Greetings, I am currently facing an issue on my blog where the grid resizes when clicking on an item, but the masonry layout doesn't adjust accordingly and causes items to become disorganized.

If you'd like to see an example of this issue in action, please visit:

$('#featured-page').masonry({
  itemSelector: '.dbnMWLI '
});

Thank you for your assistance!

Answer №1

Once you've adjusted the size of the element(s), simply use

$('#featured-page').masonry('reload')
to refresh.

Answer №2

I encountered an issue with the code provided in the solution that I accepted. It resulted in the following error message:

no 'reload' function found for masonry instance

Fortunately, the code snippet below resolved the issue for me:

$('#featured-page').masonry();
