Utilizing JavaScript to modify the language on a website

As a JavaScript and Bootstrap beginner, I have successfully added the navbar to my website, but now I want to implement a feature where users can change the language of the navbar titles (Home, About us, Our Service, Contact us) by clicking a button at the top of the navbar. Below is the Bootstrap code snippet that I am currently working with:

<button type="button" class="btn btn-primary">Spanish</button>

    <nav class="navbar navbar-expand-lg navbar-dark bg-dark">
        <img src="images/logo.png" width="60" height="55" class="d-inline-block align-top" alt="" loading="lazy">
        <button class="navbar-toggler" type="button" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#navbarSupportedContent"
            aria-controls="navbarSupportedContent" aria-expanded="false" aria-label="Toggle navigation">
            <span class="navbar-toggler-icon"></span>
        </button>
        <div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="navbarSupportedContent">
            <ul class="navbar-nav ml-auto text-center">
                <li class="nav-item active">
                    <a class="nav-link" href="index.html">Home <span class="sr-only">(current)</span></a>
                </li>
                <li class="nav-item">
                    <a class="nav-link" href="aboutus.html">About Us</a>
                </li>
                <li class="nav-item">
                    <a class="nav-link" href="ourservices.html">Our Services</a>
                </li>
                <li class="nav-item">
                    <a class="nav-link" href="contactus.html">Contact Us</a>
                </li>
            </ul>
            <a class="btn btn-outline-primary" id="fire" href="http://eatxact.com/#">Login</a>
        </div> </nav>

Answer №1

One way to implement localization for different languages is by creating a specific locale, such as 'en' or 'uk', and adding it to the website's URL. This allows users to easily access the localized version of the page by clicking on a button.

However, this method typically involves reloading the page. For a seamless transition without refreshing the page, following Siddharth S.'s suggestion would be the optimal choice.
