Utilizing CSS only layout to create empty space on the left side of the page

I've been looking but I can't seem to find the right solution to remove the extra white space on the right side. If anyone could assist me in figuring out what needs to be done and explain why, that would be greatly appreciated. Here is a link to my project.

Remove the background-repeat: no-repeat property from the body style.
