Using jQuery or jQTouch to create dynamic slide transition effects in web applications

Does anyone have a clear step-by-step tutorial for implementing slide transition animations using jQuery or jqTouch?

I've attempted it but have not been successful so far. https://github.com/senchalabs/jQTouch/wiki/Getting-Started

I'm looking for a simple template or code snippet for easily adding slide transitions.

This is specifically for an iPhone app.

Answer №1

To achieve the desired effect, simply include data-transition="slide" within the opening a tag.

For example:

<a href="image-gallery.html" data-role="button" data-transition="slide" data-theme="b"> View Image Gallery </a>
