I have attempted to incorporate Bootstrap using the cdn links provided on the website. The animations linked to the h1 element in the header are not functioning as expected. Can someone identify any errors or issues with my code?

Answer №1

The animation effect you're aiming for can be achieved with MDBootstrap, which is not included in the standard Bootstrap files. To utilize the desired animation methods, make sure to include

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/mdbootstrap/4.3.2/css/mdb.min.css">

right after your Bootstrap CSS files, and also add

<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/mdbootstrap/4.3.2/js/mdb.min.js"></script>

at the end of the body content following your current scripts. This setup should enable the animations as needed!

Generating animations dynamically using jQuery

Alternatively, you can dynamically create animations by utilizing the addClass method in jQuery:

<script>$(document).ready(function(){ $("h1").addClass("animated bounceInUp"); });</script>

Answer №2

Don't overlook adding the CDN link for Animate.css. Make sure to include this in the <head> section of your code.

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/animate.css/4.0.0/animate.min.css">

When your browser encounters animated bounceInUp, it might be interpreting it as

What is "animated" and "bounceInUp"? I need some guidance here! Where's the developer?
- Your trusty browser.

Answer №3

Make sure to insert the following code snippet within a script tag:

const animate = new Animate({
    elementClass: 'animate', // default
    animationClass: 'animated', // default
    offset: 0, // default
    mobile: true, // default
    live: true // default
});
animate.init();

Additionally, remember to include the class="wow" in your HTML component.
