Troubleshooting: Issue encountered while adding jQuery Slideshow plugin to current website

I am currently facing some challenges with a specific feature on my website. I am trying to integrate Jon Raasch's "Simple jQuery Slideshow Plugin" into an existing site that was not originally built by me. However, when viewing the site in IE 9, two unexpected issues arise.

  1. The "border-radius" CSS code does not seem to be displaying correctly.
  2. The DIV containing the slideshow is mysteriously shifted downward by approximately 50px.

If anyone is able to take a look at the source code and provide insight into why these conflicts are occurring, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance!

Your message reads

<td colspan="7" background="body/body_04.jpg" height="273" alt="">
<!--Code for jQuery Slideshow-->
   <div id="slideshow">.................

Now add "vertical-align: top;" to the element that precedes your slideshow div. Please confirm if it is effective or not.
