Tips for positioning a Bootstrap drop-down menu in the center

When you click on the menu, the dropdown typically aligns to the left. How can you adjust the alignment so that the dropdown appears in the center of the screen?

<div align="center" class="dropdown">
  <button class="btn btn-primary dropdown-toggle" type="button" data-toggle="dropdown">

    <span class="caret"></span>
  </button>
  <ul float: right class="dropdown-menu">

Answer №1

Include this CSS snippet:

    .dropdown-menu{
           margin-left:calc(50% - 80px);
           margin-right:calc(50% - 80px);}

Answer №2

Jarvis Hey there.

Give this a shot... Just include the Bootstrap class text-center.

In your navbar code snippet, add it to this line.

<div id="navbar" class="collapse navbar-collapse text-center">
          <ul class="nav navbar-nav navbar-right>

This will center the list text.

Check out the JSFiddle.
