Tips for incorporating a PDF file into a website when the Adobe Reader add-on is disabled in Internet Explorer

I attempted to insert a PDF into my website using the <embed> tag. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be functioning properly in Internet Explorer when the Adobe Reader add-on is disabled. Is there a solution that will allow it to work even if the Adobe add-on is disabled?

Answer №1

If you're looking to embed PDFs on your website, there are a variety of plugins available for this purpose:

  1. JavaScript PDF Reader: Check out pdf.js
  2. PDF Viewer: Explore Viewer
  3. JQuery Plugin: Find examples at this link
  4. Check out npm package for PDF viewer
  5. For Angular users: Take a look at ng2-pdf-viewer package
