The scrollbar is in view, but it remains stationary and does not allow the page to be scrolled

My current website has a design with 100% width, but I accidentally removed the scrollbar. After re-coding it back in, the scrollbar is visible but does not actually scroll down the page. Even though I have the CSS code and script in place, I seem to be missing some other key piece of code that will allow the scrollbar to function properly.

If you visit the site at this link: http://www.hgcarpentryandjoiner..., and right-click to view the source code, perhaps you can help me identify what I'm missing because I am struggling to figure it out on my own.

Answer №1

If you've set position:fixed; on the body, it might be causing the scrolling issue. Try removing that line and see if it resolves your problem.

Answer №2

The body tag contains an position: fixed inline style. Please remove it and refactor the entire code as it appears to be disorganized.
