`The problem regarding navigation dropdown functionality`

While working on a template, I have encountered an issue with adjusting the header. Most of the template is complete, but the header is causing a problem. The issue arises when hovering over the menu – everything seems to work fine until hovering over a nav item with a drop-down menu, at which point it decreases the font size for the next item.

I attempted to create a new header from scratch, but unfortunately, I still face the same problem only when there is a drop-down menu involved.

The anomaly you are observing is not due to a change in font size but rather caused by the rotateX transform. The browser is adjusting to accommodate the edge of the dropdown that has undergone rotation around the X-axis, allowing visibility of the edge.

While diagnosing may be challenging, rectifying the issue is straightforward. To resolve this, ensure to set the backface-visibility property to hidden on the elements involved in rotation or creating space for the rotated element's edge.

.dropdown {
    backface-visibility: hidden;
}
