Text buttons on the menu are running into each other when displayed on an Android device

After recently completing a redesign of my website, hetoft.com, I am proud to say that I crafted the design and code entirely by hand, with only Dreamweaver as a helpful tool. This was my first experience creating a website with a CSS-based layout, and despite some challenges along the way, this website was instrumental in the process. Thank you!

However, I have encountered an issue... Although my website appears to be functioning properly in IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and mobile Safari, there is a problem when scaling down the window. This issue is similar to what happens on Android devices when viewing the site - my menu points begin to overlap, causing confusion and clutter.

What steps can I take to resolve this? While I could easily set a fixed width for the website, this would compromise the integrity of my design and defeat the purpose of having a fully scalable website.

I am hopeful that someone here will be able to offer some guidance!

Best regards, Rasmus, hetoft.com

Answer №1

Why not consider implementing a minimum width using CSS?

Answer №2

Upon reviewing my X2, I understand your point. Perhaps consider incorporating

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width"/>

This could potentially be related to the arrangement of 6 left-justified links and 4 right-justified ones.
