Steps to eliminate the select all checkbox from mui data grid header

Is there a way to remove the Select All checkbox that appears at the top of the checkbox data column in my table?

checkboxSelection

The checkboxSelection feature adds checkboxes for every row, including the Select All checkbox in the header. How can I get rid of this Select All checkbox?

Answer №1

After encountering a similar issue, I delved into the MUI-X git repository and managed to find a solution. By hiding the header of the checkbox, you can effectively eliminate the select all behavior.

I hope this workaround proves to be successful for your case as well.

You can refer to the original solution on git here: https://github.com/mui/mui-x/issues/1904#issuecomment-1219293315

  "& .MuiDataGrid-columnHeaderCheckbox .MuiDataGrid-columnHeaderTitleContainer": {
    display: "none"
  }
