Steps for including a local stylesheet in a remote website

Is there a way to load an extra local stylesheet on a remote website in order to replace the existing styles?

I tried using Chrome inspector > Sources > Overrides > + Select folder for overrides > Choosing the folder where my custom local stylesheet is located;

However, after reloading the page, the local stylesheet doesn't seem to be applied.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer №1

It is not possible to incorporate local stylesheets into a remote website using Chrome overrides.

Here's how the process functions.

  1. You designate a specific directory where any changes made in DevTools will be saved.
  2. After making modifications in DevTools, a copy of the edited file is stored in your designated directory.
  3. Upon page reload, DevTools presents the locally modified file instead of the original network resource.
