Should Blogpost Titles Be Automatically Scaled to Fit the Screen Width?

I'm having trouble making the title box auto-width without any success. Unfortunately, I can't share screenshots. Here's my CSS code for the blog post title:

section#maincontent header{
position: relative;
left: 25px;
padding-left: 10px;
background: #e5e5e5;
margin-top: 50px;
padding-top: 0px;
padding-bottom: 0px;

-webkit-border-top-left-radius: 15px;
-webkit-border-top-right-radius: 15px;
-moz-border-radius-topleft: 15px;
-moz-border-radius-topright: 15px;
border-top-left-radius: 15px;
border-top-right-radius: 15px;
border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;
}

I could really use some help with this! Thank you!

In order to provide more accurate assistance, kindly share your HTML code with us. Generally speaking, a div is considered a block-level element, which means it will automatically expand to the width of its container. If you wish for the title to be displayed in a box that matches its width (with some padding), you may want to consider changing the div to display:inline, styling the title directly, or enclosing it in an inline element like a span.
