Scroll horizontally in a div with a minimum width while it is contained within a column using Bootstrap

I am seeking to create a bootstrap v4 grid with 3 columns, where certain content within the columns require a minimum width. This necessitates a horizontal scroll (overflow-x), but I am encountering some overlap where the scrollbar and content extend beyond the column. The goal is for all the content in Col content 1 (orange border) to fit neatly within Col container 1 (black border).

Thanks

Does this align with your expectations? The code is quite straightforward. I opted to place the new css within a class called .wrapScroll instead of using inline styles.

You mentioned the necessity for a min-width, but since I didn't perceive that requirement, I didn't incorporate min-width.

.wrapScroll {
  white-space: nowrap;
  overflow-x: auto;
  border: 1px solid orange;
}
<!doctype html>
<html lang="en">

  <title>Hello, world!</title>
</head>

<body>
  <div class="container-fluid">
    <div class="row">
      <div style="border: solid 1px black" class="col-4">
        Col container 1
        <div class="wrapScroll">Col content 1 - Let's extend this for demonstration purposes...</div>
      </div>
      <div style="border: solid 1px blue" class="col-4">
        Col container 2
      </div>
      <div style="border: solid 1px yellow" class="col-4">
        Col container 3
      </div>
    </div>

  </div>
