Reverse Text Converter

Is there a seamless and foolproof method to convert my CSS-styled website for use with RTL languages like Hebrew and Arabic by flipping it horizontally?

I know that many properties need to be considered in order to successfully achieve this task.

My website has complex CSS styling, so I'm on the lookout for the most elegant and reliable solution available.

While I've come across some online tools, they seem to miss out on certain properties which end up breaking the website layout.

Any recommendations for a good and efficient way to accomplish this?

Answer №1

  • Utilizing various stylesheets for the right-to-left version:

This approach has gained popularity recently with the emergence of plugins that automate the conversion of CSS files into RTL versions.

1- Streamline RTL and LTR language direction support using Grunt and Sass

2- Grunt plugin for transitioning CSS styles between left-to-right and right-to-left

3- Bi App LESS

4- Bi App SASS

There is also a Chrome extension called My Style. This extension adds a textarea to visited pages, toggled by pressing ctrl + m. Any CSS declaration added affects all pages on the domain until manually removed. By using this extension, I gradually incorporate overrides until achieving the desired outcome.
