Revamp the angular design of the mat-tree UI bottom border line issue

Can you help me with changing the direction of the mat tree from right to left? I need to remove the bottom border, please refer to the image https://i.sstatic.net/ecRIO.png here

Answer №1

When you expand the tree items, your current CSS styling may be affected. To fix this issue, you can include the following SCSS code in your styles.scss:

mat-nested-tree-node{
  &[aria-expanded="true"]{
   & > li {
          border-bottom: none;
      }
  }
}

Alternatively, you can add the following CSS code to your component's .css file:

mat-nested-tree-node[aria-expanded="true"] > li {
  border-bottom: none;
}

Answer №2

To address your issue, I have introduced a new CSS class as shown below:

li.updated-tree-container {
  border-bottom: none;
}

In the updated CSS class, the border size has been set to 2px. This class is already present in your stylesheet, so please locate it and adjust the border size to 2px.

li[_ngcontent-c0] ul[_ngcontent-c0]{
  border-top: 2px dotted gray;
}
