Is there a way to dynamically calculate the left percentage in CSS based on the window width?
For example:
- if width > 700px:
left: 30%
- if width > 800px:
left: 32%
Any suggestions on how to achieve this effect?

Creating a single CSS ruleset that increments a property stepwise every 100 pixels of window width in all major browsers is not currently achievable. It requires writing separate media queries for each interval.
However, in SCSS, this can be accomplished using a loop. By specifying the base width, base percentage, and number of intervals, you can generate the necessary media queries dynamically:
$base-width: 600px;
$base-percentage: 30%;
$number-of-intervals: 6;
@for $i from 1 through $number-of-intervals {
@media screen and (min-width: #{$base-width + (($i - 1) * 100)}) {
.my-class {
left: #{$base-percentage + (($i - 1) * 2)};
}
}
}
