Problems with displaying Wordpress content on your web browser

I am having trouble getting my website content to display properly in a web browser, even though I built it using Wordpress.

It appears that only the logo and the 'Services' bar are showing up on the page, while the rest seems to be missing. I suspect there might be some crucial code that I am overlooking.

In my header.php file, the code includes:

</head>

<body class="">

    <div id="wrapper">

        <div id="jump">

            <p><a href="#content">jump to content</a></p>

Answer №1

At line 5 in your stylesheet, the following elements are set to display:none:

    #nav,
    #hud,
    #hud-toggler,
    #imagebar,
    #jump,
    div #breadcrumb,
    #quick-jump,
    #sitemap,
    #external-links,
    #back-to-top,
    ul.powerlinks,
    ul.article-nav,
    #sidenav ul,
    p.return,
    a.doc-pdf,
    a.doc-word,
    div.logo a {
        display: none;
}

This is causing all items to be hidden on your website. Removing this line will make your content visible again.

Answer №2

The fifth rule on line 8 of your style.css file is as follows:

#nav, #hud, #hud-toggler, #imagebar, #jump, div #breadcrumb, #quick-jump, #sitemap, #external-links, #back-to-top, ul.powerlinks, ul.article-nav, #sidenav ul, p.return, a.doc-pdf, a.doc-word, div.logo a {
    display: none;
}

With this rule in place, all content will be hidden.
