Currently facing a simple issue that I'm struggling to resolve. I'm integrating some code into my website, but the image is set as a background layer, preventing it from appearing above other elements on the page.
Is there a way to embed the background-image within the HTML instead of using CSS so that it can be assigned a z-index property and stack on top of other elements?
Here is the simplified version of the code:
(Fixed an issue, should work now).
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title>Test</title>
<link href="home%20css.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.8.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="http://static.tumblr.com/jvojroo/DIamwjvp3/jquery.caroufredsel-6.2.0-packed.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="https://raw.github.com/jasonenglish/jquery-flex/master/jquery.flex.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(function() {
$(".button0").flex();
});
</script>
<style type="text/css">
.button0 {
position:relative;
width:850px;
min-height:300px;
}
.button0 a {
width:100px;
height:100px;
position:absolute;
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-position:center;
}
[bb=a] {background-image: url(http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7013/6448917381_0b754e86fb_z.jpg);
position: absolute;
z-index: 100;
}
/* Additional background images commented out for simplicity */
</style>
<body>
<div class="button0">
<a bb="a" style="left:0px;top:0px;width:10%;height:140px;" width="145%" height="140"></a>
<!-- Other background layers will go here -->
</div>
</body>
