Issue with slideout menu hyperlinks malfunctioning

Currently developing a site at , everything seemed ready for deployment until testing in 320x480 mode on mobile revealed that the links on the slideout menu were not working on any mobile device I tried, regardless of resolution or page.

I've tried updating and reverting back to a working jQuery version, adjusting z-index:1;, and exhaustively researching without finding a solution. Seeking some assistance here.

I will also search for similar issues and threads within this community for guidance. Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer №1

It seems like you're referring to the issue with the 'testimonials' and 'contact' links not functioning on the homepage menu.

In this scenario, the problem is unrelated to jQuery.

The .region element is currently positioned, causing it to be displayed over the menu. By setting nav {z-index: 1} and .region {z-index: 0}, this should resolve the issue by ensuring that the menu appears above other positioned content.

Answer №2

By removing the redundant icon from my menu and adding a z-index: 1; to the nav container, I was able to improve the design. Changing the positioning of the menu-icon from fixed to relative resolved the issue on mobile devices during testing.

Answer №3

It appears that the hamburger icon has been relocated from its original position in the top left corner of the hero image on the desktop browser when scaled to a narrow width, unless this change was intentional as part of the design.
