Is there a way to conceal a video preview in HTML code?

Currently working on my very first website, and I ran into an issue. I have successfully created a button that starts a video when clicked, but I don't want the video preview to be visible until the button is pressed. Does anyone know how I can hide the video before the button is clicked?

Answer №1

To hide a video tag element, add the attribute style='display: none'. Then, in the button's click function, include

document.getElementById("your-video-element-id").style.display = 'block';
to make it visible.
