Is the cursor out of bounds?

Can anyone help me identify the cursor that is associated with "forbidden/cancel" actions?

I have been searching for it, but I just can't seem to locate it.

Answer №1

The desired cursor values you are seeking are not -allowed and no-drop. These values were introduced in CSS3, therefore for optimal browser support it is recommended to specify an image instead.

Answer №2

Applying the css property cursor: not-allowed; will also have the desired effect.

Answer №3

Below is a full example:

.not-allowed {
  cursor: not-allowed;
}
<input type="submit" value="not-allowed" class="not-allowed" disabled />
