Is it possible to customize the default loading tile color within LeafletJS?

When LeafletJS is loading a map, the background tiles usually appear as grey by default. I am interested in customizing this color to be black or another random color. Can someone guide me on how to achieve this customization?

Answer №1

The styling for this element is defined in the 'leaflet.css' file with the following CSS rule:

.leaflet-container {
    background: #ddd;
}

To make changes, modify this specific rule.
