Is it just me, or does the page appear messy when it first loads but then magically cleans up

Every time I open my website in a new tab, the height of the navigation bar is twice as big as it should be. However, if I refresh the page, everything looks normal again. Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

You can visit my website at www.preciseos.com, take a look at the top white navigation bar, and refresh the page to see the problem.

Answer №1

The issue arises from the element

<div class="social-icons hover-big pull-right">
and specifically from these two CSS classes:

.social-icons {
    display: table
}

and

.pull-right {
    float: right
}

When using Chrome DevTools, I discovered that the bug can be reproduced by disabling both classes and then applying the classes social-icons and pull-right in this particular order. To prevent the issue, ensure that the float: right rule (i.e. the class pull-right) is applied before the display: table rule.

Answer №2

Encountering an issue with jquery-1.10.2.min.map. The server is returning a status code of 300, indicating that the file cannot be located. Please investigate this issue to resolve it.
