Interaction when a button is clicked repeatedly 10 times on a webpage

Looking for assistance in creating a website feature where clicking a link ten times opens another webpage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Answer №1

Give this a shot

let counter = 1;
function increaseCounter() {
  if (counter < 10) {
    counter++;
  }
  else {
    window.location = "your-target-page.html";
  }
};
<html>
<body>
  <button onclick="increaseCounter()">Click me 10 times</button>
</body>
</html>

Answer №2

One possible solution is to set up a "click counter" by creating a pseudo link that, when clicked, runs a JavaScript function to increment a counter. Once the counter reaches 10, you can then trigger the desired window.open function.
