Implement a Horizontal view feature in the FullCalendar API

In my project, I am utilizing the full-calendar API to create a vertical resource view. Everything works perfectly when I have around 10 resources. However, once I increase the number of resources in my project, the view becomes distorted.

Therefore, I am seeking a solution to add horizontal scrolling to this view.

Answer №1

When utilizing the viewRender callback function, consider incorporating the following code snippet:

if(view.name === "agendaDay"){
        $('.fc-view-container').css('overflow-x','auto');
        $("#fullcalendar_container").css('min-width',$('.fc-resource-cell').length*slot_width_resource);
    }

For my implementation, I have set slot_width_resource to 125. Feel free to experiment with this value to achieve optimal spacing.
