My website includes a jquery slider plugin that I use for navigating between slides. I decided to apply absolute positioning for the previous/next slide navigation, but now I am facing an issue where the navigation refreshes the entire page. Can someone assist me with a solution to resolve this problem?

Since the link lacks an href attribute, the browser interprets it as a "redirect to same/home page". It is uncertain whether this issue needs to be addressed in your markup or in the plugin. However, changing it to the following format will resolve the problem:
