How can I ensure that the images span the entire width of the page in ResponsiveSlides?

I am trying to make my images occupy the entire width of the page just like in this example:

However, I have not been able to find a property for this.

I'm new to using Jquery but I have a good understanding of Javascript

Can someone please help me with this?

This is my first time on StackOverflow so please excuse any mistakes. Thank you! :D

Answer №1

Not sure what you're looking for, but one option is to embed the image inside a div or use float to position it outside the normal margins.

Here's a suggestion with inline CSS:

<img src=" " style="position: absolute; left: 10px; top: 100px;">

You can specify the exact positioning of the image by adjusting the left and top coordinates. This should address your question.

This method allows the image to potentially fill the entire page if desired.

If you're looking to create a Responsive Slideshow, the following example using Javascript/HTML can guide you in setting up a slideshow within your slider.

  1. Javascript Code

<!-- This code is compatible with all versions of jQuery, from 1.x to 2.x -->
<script src="jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="jssor.slider.mini.js"></script>
<script>
    jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {
        //Define an array of slideshow transition effects
        var _SlideshowTransitions = [
        { code1 },
        { code2 },
        { code3 }
        ];
        var options = {
            $AutoPlay: true,
            $SlideshowOptions: {
                    $Class: $JssorSlideshowRunner$,
                    $Transitions: _SlideshowTransitions,
                    $TransitionsOrder: 1,
                    $ShowLink: true
                }
        };
        var jssor_slider1 = new $JssorSlider$('slider1_container', options);
    });
</script>

  1. HTML Code

<div id="slider1_container" style="position: relative; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 600px; height: 300px;">
    <!-- Slides Container -->
    <div u="slides" style="cursor: move; position: absolute; overflow: hidden; left: 0px; top: 0px; width: 600px; height: 300px;">
        <div><img u="image" src="image1.jpg" /></div>
        <div><img u="image" src="image2.jpg" /></div>
    </div>
</div>
