How can I boost the amount of posts on a category page?

It seems that Blogger has a limit of 20 unique labels per page according to various sources. Here is the URL where the restriction is in place:

www.BLOG.com/search/label/This-is-the-label-page-that-displays-only-20-posts/

Is there a workaround out there that can enable me to showcase all of my posts with different labels? Currently, only 20 posts are displayed on each page, which can make it challenging for viewers to navigate through my content.

I have tried following several tutorials with no success, like this one: Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Answer №1

If you want to control the number of results displayed on Blogger label pages, you can use the max-results URL parameter in the link:

blog.blogspot.com/search/label/[label]?max-results=INT

Replace INT with an integer value (up to 500).

However, keep in mind that Blogger's Autopagination feature may limit the number of results shown based on the amount of content and images on the page being requested.

To address this, consider optimizing your content using tools like Google PageSpeed Tools.

You can also customize the display of posts on label search pages by editing the blog template and utilizing data tags to show more lightweight results with just post titles, default thumbnails, and summaries.

Answer №2

After experimenting with my blog, The Mobile Spoon, I introduced page breaks to some of my longer posts filled with images. Surprisingly, it proved to be effective!

The amount of posts displayed on each page noticeably increased, including on the home page.
