Having difficulty implementing word-break: break-word CSS feature for Chinese and Japanese texts

I am trying to use the CSS property word-break: break-word on an HTML label. While it works well with roman scripts like English, German, and French, I'm facing issues with languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Is there a solution to make this work for all languages?

Answer №1

Unlike English words, Japanese and Chinese words do not have spaces between them, making it difficult to manipulate text using only CSS

Answer №2

I am facing similar issues with data retrieval from a database that I lack control over. It's challenging, especially when combining Chinese characters with English or numbers.
