Even with the page switch, the Home page maintains its distinct appearance

Currently building a website and running into an issue. The site consists of 4 pages: Home, Blog, About, and a pop-up Contact. The problem lies in the fact that when clicking on Blog, for example, it does not appear shaded in a darker black to indicate selection. Instead, the Home page remains selected and displayed in a darker shade of black. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Answer №1

It appears that you may have forgotten to activate the corresponding navbar option.

If you can provide more details, I'll be able to offer better assistance.

For instance, if you're utilizing Twitter Bootstrap, the syntax is as shown below:

<li class="active"><a href="http://homelink.com">Home</a></li>

This would apply if you were currently on the home page.
