Ensure proper spacing between the axis and text on your NVD3 charts by adding a space

My attempt to identify the classes responsible for styling the axis was unsuccessful. It left me feeling lost.

I struggled to pinpoint the correct class to use in order to create some space between the axis and the text.

Any suggestions on how I could tackle this issue?

Answer №1

If you want to achieve this, simply choose the axis text and adjust the x, y, dx, dy, text-anchor attributes as needed. Here's a quick example:

d3.select(".axis-x").selectAll(".tick text")
    .attr('x', 10);
