Enhancing h1 styles in bootstrap with custom CSS styling

Currently, I am in the process of following a tutorial to familiarize myself with bootstrap. In the tutorial, they made changes so that it now looks like this: enter image description here

Specifically, I am using the Montserrat font. However, when I attempt to make the same changes, it seems that my alterations do not take precedence over the default settings. What steps can I take to rectify this issue? enter image description here

It is important to note that I am utilizing Bootstrap 4.

Answer №1

Consider applying styling to your theme using classes or IDs rather than relying on tag names. If this approach doesn't yield the desired results, you can explore alternative options.

.title{
  font-family: 'Arial' !important;
  font-size: 3rem !important;
  line-height: 1.2 !important;
}

Fingers crossed that this solution proves effective!
