Customizing Bootstrap to automatically display a modal without the need for a button click

According to the Bootstrap website, modals are typically triggered using buttons.

As I am working with React, I would like to control when the modal is displayed using JavaScript.

Is there a way to have the modal appear by default?

Here is the code snippet for Modal.js:

...
return(
<div class="modal" tabindex="-1" role="dialog">
  <div class="modal-dialog" role="document">
    <div class="modal-content">
      <div class="modal-header">
        <h5 class="modal-title">Modal title</h5>
        <button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-label="Close">
          <span aria-hidden="true">&times;</span>
        </button>
      </div>
      <div class="modal-body">
        <p>Modal body text goes here.</p>
      </div>
      <div class="modal-footer">
        <button type="button" class="btn btn-secondary" data-dismiss="modal">Close</button>
        <button type="button" class="btn btn-primary">Save changes</button>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>
)
import "./styles.css";
import Modal from './Model'

export default function App() {
  return (
    <div className="App">
      <h1>123</h1>
      <Modal/>
    </div>
  );
}

Utilize jQuery to toggle visibility of elements

   $("#id of your element").toggle();

Ensure jQuery is loaded before Bootstrap if using both libraries. However, if you prefer pure JavaScript, you can manually manipulate the DOM as shown below:

  <!-- Element -->
<div id="myelement">
    // Content goes here
</div>

<script>
    const myelement = document.getElementById('myelement');

    // Toggle visibility of the element
    function hide() {
        myelement.style.display = "none"
    }

    // Attach event listener to close button
    myelement.addEventListener("click", hide)
</script>

Modify the script according to your requirements
