Creating adaptable horizontal grids is straightforward with these steps

Is it possible to create a 3 horizontal responsive grid using only CSS and HTML, without relying on any framework? I've attempted it but am struggling to come up with a solution.

Answer №1

To create a flexible layout, start by using a parent div to determine the total height (for instance, 300px or 100%).

Next, adjust the height of each child div to 33% by adding height: 33%

For a visual demonstration, check out this example

Alternatively, view this other example where the total height is set to 100%. Remember, you may need to also set the height of the html and body elements to 100% for this method to work correctly.
