Continue extending the footer as the screen size decreases

Could anyone offer some assistance? I'm currently working on a project and facing issues with getting the footer to always be pushed down as the screen size decreases. As of now, my content is going under the footer instead. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also open to suggestions for improvements or clean-up. I understand that my CSS may not be the neatest, but I am in the process of transitioning away from using bootstrap and refining my skills :)

Thanks in advance, Conner.

This snippet is sourced from this helpful article on CSS-Tricks. While the original post only offers one solution, you can achieve a sticky footer using flexbox by implementing the following code:

body {
   width: 100%;
   min-height: 100vh;
   display: flex;
   flex-direction: column;
}

.wrapper{
   flex: 1 0 auto;
}

.footer{
   flex-shrink: 0;
}
